Sunday Service Updates

Join us at 10:00am each Sunday at 3735 Harding St.

Read below how we're continuing to adjust a provide a safe environment for worship.

Update (January 31st, 2022):

Beginning Sunday, February 6th, we will be returning to in-person services. Masks will continue to be required with one change--cloth masks are no longer permitted. We will have surgical masks available if needed, as it is now recommended to at least wear a surgical mask, if not an N95, KN95, or KF94 mask.

We are meeting in the sanctuary and will continue to block off every other pew to offer distance between groups. When you arrive, you will check-in and have your temperature taken.

Thanks for you patience as we continue to provide a safe place to gather. We look forward to seeing you!

Update (January 4th, 2022):

At this time, our Sunday Service will online only. We will continue to keep you updated. Join us at mackave.com/watch.

Update (June 2021):

In light of rising vaccination rates and downtrending COVID cases, there have been a number of restrictions rolled back recently by the CDC and the State of Michigan. On July 1st, these rollbacks will continue as the State of Michigan will essentially remove all remaining COVID related government mandates. As your elder team we will also be continuing our reopening process, while still looking out for the safety of our body.

Based on recent survey results our internal vaccination rate appears to be higher than the states which is very encouraging. Yet we recognize that vaccines likely won’t be available for children ages 11 and under until the late fall or early winter, so we're planning on a two stage return to unrestricted worship services and Sunday school.

Stage 1, starts July 1st.

Stage 2, starts 2 months after vaccines become available for kids as young as 6 months (expected late fall/early winter). We see this essentially as the new “normal” state, so we will fully reopen at this point.

As always, Sunday Service will continue to be available via livestream here.
