And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. -Acts 2:42

Christ has deemed discipleship as the means for spiritual growth within His body.  This retreat will stimulate your passion for discipleship, further equip you to live out the gospel, and provide opportunities for great conversations and fun times.  Set the time aside to remove you and your family from the normal pace of life and join us for the 2022 Discipleship Retreat!

LOCATION

Timber Wolf Lake is located in Northern Michigan, 45 miles southeast of Traverse City. Timber Wolf is a Young Life Camp that is located outside Lake City on a beautiful property with a lake, waterfront activities, trails, sport fields, climbing wall, zip lines, go carts and more. We will be choosing from among these activities for our group to participate in!

ACCOMMODATIONS

Timber Wolf Lake has various housing facilities. We will assign housing based on your family size. Families with children will have rooms separate from other families. Most families will have their own bathroom, some small families will share a bathroom with one other family. Adults without children will stay in groups of 12-14 per room in bunkbeds.

TRANSPORTATION

Timber Wolf Lake is located at 909 N Morey Rd, Lake City, MI 49651. The drive will take about 3 hours and 15-30 minutes. We encourage you all to carpool! Please mark on your form whether or not you are able to provide your own transportation. If you are able to provide transportation, please let us know how many people outside your family you could accommodate in your car.

MEALS

Meals will be provided by MACC on Saturday all day and for Sunday breakfast (and lunch to go). For those arriving before 7pm on Friday, we will have food available. Please mark any food allergies or dietary restrictions on your registration form.

COVID Precautions

We will follow similar guidelines at the retreat as we do at Sunday Service. Masks will be worn when indoors (besides in your room). During mealtimes, participants can eat outdoors if they prefer.

SCHEDULE

Check-in for the retreat will begin at 5pm on Friday. We will have several group sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday morning. The rest of the weekend will be free for you to enjoy the camp with your church family. We will have a couple of structured activities planned on Saturday afternoon. Check-out will be at 12pm on Sunday.

KIDS

We are excited to include our entire families in this retreat. Babysitting will be provided during each session, with different activities planned for them to participate in. Kids will be with their families for the rest of the retreat.

COST

The cost for each individual is dependent on age and has been subsidized by MACC.

*The cost for children 0-3 is only for children who will need babysitting. If you have an infant that you will keep with you during sessions, you do not need to include them in your family cost but please list them on your registration form so we can plan your accommodations appropriately.

SCHOLARSHIPS

If you are interested in providing a scholarship for another individual or family to be able to attend, please mark that on your registration form.

If you are unable to pay any or all of the cost of the retreat, please let us know! We do not want the cost to prevent anyone from coming.

REGISTER

To reserve your place at the retreat, please register here. Payment can be made when you register or given in cash or check made out to MACC.

The deadline to register is Monday, May 9th. Even if you cannot make your payment by this time, please fill out and turn in the registration form by this deadline. Timber Wolf Lake also requires a release form for each individual. Please turn these forms in with your registration forms as well.
