As you have witnessed through our correspondence this year, the Lord, Jesus has demonstrated his kindness and grace to us in a ton of ways. By God’s grace, we are excited and preparing for a new year of gospel clarity and consistency in our lives and our demonstration.

Sunday, January 8th is our Vision Sunday. We will discuss what we are trusting the Lord for this year as a local body. I thought it might be beneficial to give a preview of what some of our discussion will entail in order to keep you in the loop and to inform your kind prayers for us.

Council of Elders

We believe the Bible teaches that each local church should be led by a plurality of godly, qualified men called Elders. Since starting the church, we have longed to have leaders that would meet the qualifications to be Elders and that some would be from our community. We are at that point now! This is an important time because quite frankly I have possessed to much power for a long time. It is not healthy and in the flesh I am sad to give up some of the power yet I know this is extremely beneficial for our community and myself. Also, this change brings the governance structure of our church into closer harmony with Scripture. Please keep us in prayer for this exciting change.
